The Toronto Korean Festival is the biggest Korean festival in Canada as well as the largest and most anticipated gathering in North York. Guests of all ages are welcome to enjoy food, performances, market vendors, and fun games! Join us at Mel Lastman Square August 26-28, 2022!

Be part of one of Toronto's biggest Korean festivals at Mel Lastman Square! We are looking for passionate, energetic and enthusiastic volunteers to join us in July and August!

We have contacted all volunteer applicants and assigned shifts as of August 16. Please check your spam folders or contact volunteer@tokofest.com if you have not received your schedules. Applications will continue to be open until the festival

How do I sign-up to volunteer for TokoFest 2022?An Google Form for volunteers will be made available. The TKF staff will review all volunteer registrations and begin offering positions closer to the Festival.

What will I be doing as a volunteer? Can I choose what role I volunteer in?Through your registration form you will be able to indicate the type of roles you are interested in volunteering with, skills you may be able to offer and your availability. Based on the information you provide while registering, we will do our best to offer you a position of interest and that best suits your skill set. Training will be provided to all volunteers prior to the Festival.

Is there a deadline to volunteer?Although the deadline for registrations has ended on August 12, we will continue to review and accept volunteers when and if space allows until the festival. Please sign up using the registration form.

Will a meal be provided during my shift?All volunteers working four consecutive hours or more will be entitled to a meal.

COVID-19 ProtocolsCurrently, masking is no longer required, however volunteers may choose to wear a mask if they wish to do so.

When will I know if I have been selected?Volunteers will be selected on a rolling basis. We will contact you with more information regarding your role once you have been selected.

Do I have to attend a training session?Yes, there will be 2 opportunities to attend an in-person training session so that you are prepared for the festival!

Can volunteer hours from TokoFest be used towards my high school diploma?Yes, but you should confirm this with your school as the approval of community service hours is at the principal/councillor’s discretion.
