The Toronto Korean Festival

Since 2001, the Toronto Korean Festival has been attracting large crowds to experience Korean culture. TKF is officially the biggest Korean festival in Canada as well as the largest and most anticipated gathering in North York. In 2017 an estimated 35,000 people attended and turnout is expected to grow as the Hallyu phenomenon continues.

Guests of all ages and backgrounds can enjoy over twenty live performances such as the traditional sport of Tae Kwon Do, traditional dances and drumming, K-Pop dance competition and performances, interactive audience games, and many more. There are also visits by prominent members of the Korean-Canadian community, politicians, celebrities and other VIPs during our opening ceremony.

Other than our stage performances, we also have many off stage festivities too. Our special events include Squid Game, Hanbok Experience, K-Pop Random Dance Play, Traditional Korean Games, Mocktail Social, Dalgona Candy Making, and more! Our vendors include delicious Korean street food, beer/soju garden, Korean merchandise, and other fun interactive booths! Our festival is free to the public; the more the merrier!

THE VISION

The Toronto Korean Festival aims to spread the culture of thanksgiving by providing a variety of cultural events and programs on behalf of the Korean Canadian community. The Korean Canadian Business Association (KCBA) prides itself in working very hard to make this a successful event and hopes to cultivate the Korean Community in Toronto.

A TASTE OF KOREA

Over 25 food and snack booths will be offering a variety of traditional Korean and fusion food for at a fair price, so you can sample the many unique flavours Korea has to offer. Old favourites will be available such as Bulgogi, Japchae and Ddukbokkie as well as new popular creations like pork-belly buns, kimchi fries and Korean tacos. We invite you to experiment and enjoy our taste of Korea!

THE K-MARKET

THE ROOFTOP PATIO
There will also be a patio, a place to relax with your Korean food and snacks on the warm summer day and watch the festivities on the stage. A variety of activities will be scheduled to take place on the patio throughout the weekend.

Vendors from all across the city will gather up at a market experience that shows off the Korean community! There will also be face painting, calligraphy keepsakes, photo booths and raffle ticket draws available at the KCBA sponsored booth to create an memorable experience for families and friends!
